Create Your Configuration Disk

After you have completed the Callwhere® installation and the system is functioning properly, you should create a configuration disk. This will save the system's configurations in case you ever have to reload Callwhere®.

1. Select the "Files" option from the main menu of the Installation program. Then scroll down to Configuration Disk and choose "Create a Disk".

2. Insert a blank formatted diskette in your floppy drive and click "Yes"

3. Select the the Floppy drive (usually "A" drive). Click "Open".

4. When the configuration is saved you will receive the following message:

Restoring from Configuration Disk
1. Select the "Files" option from the main menu of the "Installation" program.
Then scroll down to Configuration Disk and choose "Create a Disk".

2. Highlight the "Configuration Disk" option, then select the "Restore from Disk" option and the following message will appear:
Message: Insert the Callwhere Configuration disk into your disk drive.
3. Insert a previously created configuration disk, click "OK", and a dialogue box will display the date and time of the settings file. Click "Yes" to restore the telephone parameters.

4. You will get the message, "System configuration has been restored." Exit and restart "Installation".

5. Exit out of the Installation program and start the Call Collector.
